  • It Is made available to travellers who pay their way when required to do so – i.e. Donations freely given and fees paid in honesty boxes when displayed at various camp sites around Australia.

Responsible tourists are those who also obey camping signs & restrictions. (I.e. Maximum stay 24 hours & Signs Displaying Either A Crossed Tent, Caravan Or Motorhome Means “NO CAMPING” in any mode of conveyance). They are those who do not dispose of black or gray water irresponsibility, particularly black water disposal in septic toilets, regardless of the manufacturers claims about being environmentally friendly. They are those who leave a camping site as clean or cleaner than when they arrived. Who are considerate to others when running generators or entertainment devices & those who control their pets (particularly those that own dogs (my dog does not bark) that are hearing impaired.)

Responsible tourists also do not camp in towns, (ovals, parks etc) that have a caravan park unless sign posted that overnight camping is permitted.

These restrictions are not difficult to obey & can increase the enjoyment of all who are “responsible campers”
